Evan Carpenter brings more than 25 years of investment management experience to the Sub-Advisor. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Partner, Portfolio Manager, and Investment Analyst at Coho Partners, where he managed a concentrated portfolio of high-quality businesses characterized by durable competitive advantages, strong profitability, and stable and growing cash flows. Earlier in his career, he held senior equity research positions at Mutual of America Capital Management, Lord Abbett, and Gabelli Asset Management.
Throughout his career, Mr. Carpenter has been committed to a disciplined, bottom-up investment approach grounded in rigorous fundamental research and detailed financial modeling. His expertise centers on identifying high-quality companies with strong profitability, sustainable earnings power, robust cash flow generation, and attractive long-term growth prospects.
Mr. Carpenter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Business and Mathematics from Lafayette College and an MBA in Finance from Columbia University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charterholder and a member of the CFA Society South Carolina. He has successfully passed the Series 7 and Series 63 industry licensing examinations.
A native of New York, Evan, moved to Bluffton, South Carolina, from New Jersey. He and his wife are the proud parents of two adult daughters. An avid golfer, he enjoys spending time on the course. Outside of golf, he stays active through cycling, tennis, and hiking and appreciates the active Lowcountry lifestyle.
